We fell in love with the deep velvet voice of The National's lead singer Matt Berninger a few years ago and we've continued to be big fans. If you haven't heard this band yet, we highly recommend Boxer, the latest of this New York-based band's albums. It may not get much mainstream play, but The National's music is totally accessible, and the talented quartet just seems to get better with every album.

It seems the critics aren't in love with the updated movie version of Land of the Lost, but what about the original? Bear in mind, sometimes things aren't exactly as you remember them from your childhood, but there's still high entertainment value in this show's low-budget sets and pure 70s look.
