Too Low Tech for Infants-Some Design FlawsMy recommendation: maybe ok for larger babies/toddlers, but it's such a low-tech design - get a Baby Bjorn Active instead- MUCH easier to use, and it's design and ease of use are superior in every way. I bought this based on the rave reviews of the daughters of the editor of Above Rubies magazine. They have tried many carriers and really were sold on this. Ergo also has a money back guarantee so I knew I could return it if I needed to. I got it when... read entire review
- Pros: Backpack position earlier than most carriers, more secure than a sling, durable.
- Cons: Takes practice to get backpack position down, sometimes requires help to get in this position.
- The Bottom Line: A great carrier. Pricey, but it will not break or fall apart. Child will not fall out and your back and shoulders will not need a chiropractic adjustment.
