The Bodum Travel Press Coffee Maker is a great idea . . . almost
How I managed to get mine When I was managing an upscale coffee store for a fair sized, growing chain, I had a woman come in frantically searching for the Bodum Travel press. I had seen them on a couple occasions, but knew we had never carried... read entire review
- Pros: French press to go, Insulated cup keeps coffee hot and hands cool
- Cons: Chunky coffee, poor lid design
- The Bottom Line: I found this product very disappointing, I suppose if you don't mind cowboy coffee it would be OK

I hear these words every morning from my husband when he gets up and inevitably gets me up as well. With him being in the military and waking up just minutes before he has to leave he needed something quick to get his fix and wake up by. Well I was at... read entire review

Bodum travel press makes excellent coffee to go!
I have only had the travel press for a few weeks, so I can't address durability issues -- but otherwise, it's wonderful! I put some grinds in it at home before I leave for work, then when I'm ready for some great coffee I add some water and voila!... read entire review

- Cons: May not be very durable
- The Bottom Line: This travel press has improved my mornings at the office tenfold! Great coffee, easy to use, and pretty cheap too.

Coffee tastes good, but the press doesn't last
As a complete coffee addict, and a press fanatic, I needed something for trips and camping. I've used the large stainless vacuum flasks, but they are too large -- I'm the only one in my camping group who likes full strength coffee, and I can't drink two... read entire review
- Pros: Cheap
- Cons: Cheap
- The Bottom Line: At $10, even if it only lasts a dozen uses, it's still cheaper than trips to Peets.

I love French press coffee and I travel a lot. So when I saw the Bodum travel press I thought it was a match made in heaven.

- Pros: Brew your own coffee anytime, anywhere, coffee tastes amazing, great for travel
- Cons: Plastic can crack, sometimes lid doesn't seal
- The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend the stainless steel travel press to anyone who loves French press coffee and is always on the go, but I would avoid the plastic model.

Black & Decker DCM2500 Coffee Maker
I would concur with other negative reviews of this product. We have now gone through our second SmartBrew and after purchasing it in September of 2007, it has now stopped working as of December 5, 2007. We had (stupidly) purchased a second one after the... read entire review
