The Simon XT Wireless Talking Touchpad is a combination of the conventional ITI Learn Mode touchpad with a speech chip, an RF receiver, and a voice amplification circuit. The Simon XT Wireless Talking Touchpad is designed to supply you with a convenient alternative for the following system operations: Arming the entire sytem (doors, windows, and motion sensors) Arm the system with the No Entry Delay Function activated. Disarming the system. Triggering a panic alarm to signal the central monitoring station in the case of a non-medical emergency. Check the entire system's status Allows you to listen in to the voice feedback which is heard at the Simon XT Control Panel. The Touchpad does not have to be supervised and has no tamper detection. A low battery condition is automatically detected by the unit and communicated immediately to the control panel. The voice feedback can be heard only at the touchpad that is being used. If the touchpad is not designed to act as a siren, and it will not release any alarm sounds or status beeps.
