"Best in its class!"
Pros: Excellent video quality, easy to use.
Cons: Lack of true manual iris control
Summary: CNET's review of this camera is amateur in itself -- how is not having 24p or HD a drawback? This camera was not designed for that in the first place... it's meant to fit the nitch of a prosumer/entry-level pro camera that's awesome for SD documentaries and SD broadcast... you don't need 24p or HD for that... nor would you want to spend extra money for those features if you aren't going to be using them. Comparing apples to apples, this camera by far has the best picture in its class.
Although the camera lacks total manual control, the automated features work very well and can reduce your workload if you set your shots up correctly.

Do you own this camera? If you do how do you like it. I am considering either the CRVX2100 or the DSRPD170. Our primary venue will be to do live internet streaming of conferences that our client is going to be hosting. Thanks for your input.
