Another AmeriHybrid, this one in a spectacular cascading form! Large blooms of delicious apricot-orange cascade over a container. 1 bulb fills a 10-12 pot. Zones 9-10. Begonia AmeriHybrid® Hanging Basket Apricot. Partial to Full Shade. Deer tend to avoid. 2 1/2 bulb. Tuberous Begonias are some of the most stunning of small plants, with huge, showy flowers and attractive tropical-appearing leaves. And they bloom in the shade! They take 2-3 months to reach their potential, so it's best to start them indoors about a month before the last frost-free date and move outdoors to an area with bright shade (a little morning sun is acceptable). Keep moist but not wet, and fertilize once a month. In fall, dig and store over winter in a cool, dry place (40-50° F).
