Sidi T3 Air Carbon Composite Shoe - Men's White/Black, 44.5 - Men's
Sidi T3 Air Carbon Composite Shoe - Men's White/Black, 44.5 - Men's
If you feel like you've been looking in vain for a comfortable, breathable, low-volume triathlon shoe with easy ingress and egress and quality that will hold up for more than one season, look no further. The Sidi T3 Air Shoes cover all of the bases, while exuding an aesthetic that'll stop the pack in their tracks and quality that will last for years. From a purely functional standpoint, we can agree that rigidity is key. That's why Sidi uses a multi-step system to ensure that your power output receives a minimal amount of dissipation through the interaction of the shoe and the pedal. To achieve this, Sidi incorporated its new Eleven Carbon Composite sole. Now, don't think that this is anything like the Millennium 3 composite sole. The Eleven uses a 3K carbon fiber weave that's been inset into a carbon infused nylon matrix. This process provides variable stiffness throughout the sole in order to dramatically improve the overall stiffness-to-comfort ratio of the shoe. This especially makes the sensation of your T2 change into running shoes more seamless, because your arch movements have been accommodated over the cycling leg. And not only does the composite matrix result in comfort, but it also enhances the level of durability. In fact, Sidi estimates that the new material is less susceptible to temperature extremes and wear, and accordingly, the soles are predicted to retain their rigidity levels over multiple seasons of use. For fit, Sidi understands that triathlon plays by another set of rules. Its hallmark ratcheting system and Ergo Buckles aren't relevant to your discipline, so, Sidi incorporated a two-strap closure system, mated with a 'burrito-wrap' upper. What does this mean? Well, the T3 features an opening that runs over nearly the entire top of the shoe. The burrito analogy is drawn from the T3's upper construction where one layer of the upper wraps over the other. This allows you to really dial in the volume of the shoe, whether it be for training or ...

Sidi T3.6 Men's Shoes White Silver, 44.5
Sidi T3.6 Men's Shoes White Silver, 44.5
In a triathlon, every second counts. However, while most seconds are earned in the pain cave, some seconds are lost to human error, and some are simply purchased. Lucky for you, the Sidi T3. 6 Shoes cover you on all fronts. With a new design, transitions are simplified with the T3. 6's ease-to-use entry and exit system, and your efforts are maximized from its carbon sole and conforming design. From a purely functional standpoint, we can agree that rigidity is key. Sidi Ergo 3 Vent Carbon Shoes White/Black, 44.5 - Men's
Sidi Ergo 3 Vent Carbon Shoes White/Black, 44.5 - Men's
Our regret when Sidi retired the venerable Ergo 2 was only surpassed by our pleasure from the first pedal stroke in their replacement, the Ergo 3 Vent Carbon Shoes. It has all the same features that inspired a devoted -- and often clandestine -- Ergo 2 following in the peloton, even among pros sponsored by other brands. In fact, the big only difference is the addition of venting in the sole to offer selectable airflow for four-season comfort. Except for the optional venting, the sole shares the same construction method as the Carbon Lite sole, less 38 grams of weight. Even with the weight savings, you'll get the same kind of stiffness and razor sharp power transfer you've grown to expect from Sidi. The vent inlet at the toe can be opened or closed depending on the temperature and your preferences -- even while on the bike if necessary. The airflow moves underneath and through the insole to cool your feet in sweltering summer temps. The Ergo 3 has the same closure system as previous Ergo shoes -- Ratcheting Caliper Buckle, Techno II Buckle, and hook-and-loop. The Ratcheting Caliper Buckle is mated to Sidi's Soft Instep Closure System strap that more evenly spreads the upward stroke pedaling forces across the top of your foot. The buckle on the outside of the foot provides a maximum of two clicks per uptake along with single-click releases, meaning that you can precisely tension the pressure of the strap, even during a race. The Techno II Buckle allows you to micro-adjust strap pressure, so the fit of your upper won't be too loose or too tight. No other system so precisely and so gently provides a custom fit. The hook-and-loop strap on the toe is reinforced with integrated locking teeth to absolutely, positively resist slippage during crucial all-out efforts. Sidi's improved its Heel Security System (HSS) to keep your foot positively planted in the shoe. It's an adjustable, rigid composite band that closes the shoe more securely over your heel to anchor it in place...
