The Monitor Audio Silver RX1 is a compact two-way speaker using a rear ported bass reflex with HiVe II port system. It boasts an 6" C-CAM RST cone mid-bass driver and a 1" C-CAM gold dome tweeter. By refining its computer-aided Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Monitor Audio has developed new ways to shape its core driver material for even greater fidelity. C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminum/Magnesium) is very light and very strong, and so is ideal for the driver cones. Monitor Audio's C-CAM gold dome tweeter now extends high frequency performance to beyond 35 kHz, enabling you to enjoy the full potential of current and future wide-band HD audio and home theater formats.
