Gerber Bear Grylls Survival Assisted Opening Folding Knife 3 Serrated 7Cr17 Black Stainless Steel Blade Nylon Handle Orange and Black
Quick access to the blade of a folding knife is imperative in survival situations. The Gerber Bear Grylls Survival Assisted Open (AO), featuring an assisted opening blade that deploys reliably and quickly with one hand, responds for instant use when the situation demands it. Using Gerber s FAST 2.0 technology, the Survival AO implements both a plunge lock and a safety lock. The safety barrel lock will keep the blade closed when in a pocket, or as a secondary lock when opened. Closing the knife is a simple one-hand process: after the plunge lock is released, simply press it down against a firm surface. With its partially serrated 3-inch 7Cr17MoV steel blade, the Bear Grylls Survival AO s robust action works capably to cut, rip, tear, and slice, whether it s box tape in a warehouse or branches for shelter in the woods. The handle is made of durable glass filled nylon with the familiar rubber over-mold for a solid grip in all conditions. A removable pocket clip and lanyard hole provide multiple carry options, insuring the Survival AO stands at the ready until summoned. The Priorities of Survival Pocket Guide is included with this knife, furthering its usefulness and potential life-saving utility. Backed by Gerber's Lifetime Warranty. Condor Tool & Knife 10 Mountain Survival Knife
The Mountain Survival Knife from Condor Tool and Knife traces its proud history back to 1787, the year Gerb Weyesburg Company was founded in Solingen, Germany. The quality of the swords, military knives, agricultural tools and household cutlery they manufactured made Solingen the cutlery capital of the world. In 1964, the company formed Imasca with a plant in Santa Ana, El Salvador and filled it with state of the art German equipment. Some of the original local employees who were sent to Solingen for extensive training forty years ago are still working in the factory today, turning out the finest quality machetes, shovels and other hand tools. In 2004, Imasca developed a first quality line of tools and knives for the North American and European outdoor markets and Condor Tool and Knife was born.
