4FRNT named its all-mountain-crushing women-specific ski the Aretha for one reason--it wails. Being the twin sister to the Devastator, the Aretha takes the same all-mountain, do-it-all philosophy behind its design, and implements some lady-friendly designs so you get the most out of your ski. The Aretha features 4FRNT's contour core, which moves the weight of the core 5cm rearwards. Essentially what this does is allow you to drive your ski from your hips, and make you able to drive the true center of the ski, instead of constantly feeling like you're behind it. All the other elements that you'd expect from a pair of 4FRNT skis are in play with the Aretha. The asymmetrical design gives the ski a directional shape and provides a consistent feel going into turns. The Reflect Tech technology makes sidecut and rocker work together and gives you a surfy feel in the powder, all while eliminating hip and tail hook so you get a more predictable and consistent turning sensation. Semi-cap construction partially wraps the topsheet around the sidewall, increasing the durability and longevity of the ski.
