The SwitchView SC switch includes USB common access card (CAC) reader support. CAC support is required for all government employees attempting to log in to government systems. This requirement is specified in the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD12). The SwitchView SC switch allows desktop IT administrators to only deploy a single CAC reader that will be switched to all computers connected to the switch.The SwitchView SC KVM switching solution includes USB and/or PS/2 peripheral and computer support. This model includes three layers of tamper-proof hardware security to enhance security at the desktop.
