The ninth installment of the series, "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" is the first to be set in the future. This Xbox 360 video game features futuristic warfare weapons and technology and a uniquely branching storyline. Players choose a path in this first-person shooter game that provides hours of enjoyment. A single-player campaign is composed of two storylines. The first takes place in the 1970s and 1980s while the second story line of "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" takes place in 2025. The protagonist of the series, Alex Mason, is back. Throughout the Xbox 360 video game, he fights proxy wars for the United States of America. This first-person shooter game is set in multiple locations, including Afghanistan and Central America. Another development in this version of the series is the inclusion of strike force missions and zombies. "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" is rated M for Mature and is ideal for those who enjoy the genre.
