The new triangular shaped lantern the Exponent CR123A Lithium Pack-Away Lantern features the popular telescoping pack-away design and weighs only 4.8 ounces with batteries. It is perfect for backpacking or other applications that require a bright area light that comes in a compact, self-protective, weather-resistant case. The new light's illumination source is a technologically advanced Cree XLamp XR-E LED, which produces a very efficient 100 lumens of light on the high setting. It is powered by three CR123A lithium batteries, which are included. Run times are five hours for the high setting and 12 hours on low. An emergency strobe setting is also provided on the lantern that stands but four inches tall.
