The muddy world of cyclocross plays by a different set of rules. And if you hope to have any success in racing, or you just want to enjoy your beers with a stronger sense of accomplishment, your wheels need to strike the balance between weight and durability. For most builders, a 'cross wheel is simply wider, but to Fulcrum, this singular concept isn't enough. That's why Fulcrum's Racing 5CX wheelset has not only been made stronger, but new engineering techniques also led to better protection of the bearings and a more balanced, faster wheel.Starting at the rim, Fulcrum constructed the Racing 5CX from aluminum -- no surprise there. And while this alloy composition is both strong and lightweight, the wheel's high strength-to-weight ratio required a multi-step design approach. Let's start at the rim and work our way to the hub. In cyclocross, wheel tension is paramount. Your wheels drudge by hit-after-hit, and over time, this impact translates to the interface between the spoke nipples and the rims -- the eyelets. So, to counter this stress, Fulcrum went to the length of reinforcing them in order to retain proper tension. And as for the spokes, the Racing 5CX features double-butted steel spokes, while still retaining an aerodynamic profile.Making our way down to the hubs, you can really see the cyclocross side of things coming into play. Fulcrum employed what it calls its Dynamic Balance technology, here. The principle at work is relatively simple -- a balanced wheel is both a faster and stronger wheel. So, at the rear wheel, the Racing 5CX compensates for the freehub body with two oversized spokes on the non-driveside. The weight gain is beyond negligible, but the rotational dynamics are drastically improved. Further along these lines, the rear wheel has received Fulcrum's 2:1 technology. This system is attributable to hub's having no flange on the no-drive and a flange on the driveside. Fulcrum found that the rotational force of pedaling resulted in the flex of driv

Polar G5 GPS Sensor Polar IrDA USB Adapter Polar ProTrainer 5 software CD Wrist Strap for extra length RS800CX Getting Started Guide Polar G5 GPS Sensor User Manual Altimeter and barometer features Altitude with graphical trend (available via Polar ProTrainer 5 software) - Altitude is measured with an atmospheric air pressure sensor. Altitude is shown as ascended and descended meters/feet and uphill/downhill steepness in percentages and grades. Altitude, ascent and descent (meters, degrees, percentage) - Altitude is measured with an atmospheric air pressure sensor. Altitude is shown as ascended and descended meters/feet and uphill/downhill steepness in percentages and grades. Temperature Body measurement features Automatic age-based target zone (bpm / % / % HRR) - To help you train safely and effectively, the training computer determines your heart rate target zone limits automatically according to your age-based maximum heart rate (220 minus age). The limits are determined either in beats per minute (bpm), as a percentage (%) of your maximum heart rate, or as a heart rate reserve (% HRR). See also Maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) and Manual target zone. Average and maximum heart rate of each lap Average, minimum and maximum heart rate of training Heart rate (bpm / % / % HRR) Heart rate is the measurement of the work your heart does. Heart rate can be expressed as the number of beats per minute or as percentage of your maximum heart rate. Heart rate can also be expressed as a percentage of your heart rate reserve, meaning the difference between your resting heart rate and maximum heart rate (HRR = HRmax - HRrest). In Polar software or during strength training, heart rate can be displayed as a graphical trend. HR-based target zones with visual and audible alarm You can define your target zones for a training session based on heart rate to help define the right intensity. When you are out of the preset zones, the training computer will give a visual and audible alarm. HRmax (age-based) The highest number of heart beats per minute (bpm) during maximum physical exertion. For a rough estimate of your maximum heart rate, subtract your age from 220. HRmax is a useful tool for determining the intensity of training as intensity zones can be defined using HRmax. Some Polar products define maximum heart rate during the Polar Fitness Test, see also HRmax (Polar Fitness Test -based). HRmax (Polar Fitness test-based) - Some Polar products predict your HRmax simultaneously with the Polar Fitness Test. This predicted HRmax value is more accurate than the age-based formula (220 minus age). HRmax (user set) Manual target zone (bpm / % / % HRR) - This feature enables you to define the target zone as you want and is suitable for your training. You can set the target zone for your training as beats per minute (bpm), as a percentage of your maximum heart rate, or as a percentage of your heart rate reserve (HRR%). Polar Fitness Test - Polar Fitness Test measures your aerobic fitness at rest in just five minutes. The result, Polar OwnIndex, evaluates your maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max). With the Polar Fitness Test you can measure your aerobic fitness by yourself, automatically and without any exertion. All you need is your training computer. The Polar Fitness Test is as accurate in predicting the VO2max as any sub maximal fitness tes

KILLS SPIDER MITES IN UNDER 30 SECONDS FROM TIME OF CONTACT Natural Non-Toxic Use in Flower Right Up Until Harvest Pests Cannot Develop Resistance Kills Eggs, Kills Juveniles, Kills Adults Also available in concentrate Spotless is absolutely safe to humans and animals. There is no withholding period. One of the big challenges you will face as an indoor gardener is the constant attacks by pests and diseases. The most serious pest you are likely to see is the two spotted mite or spider mite. This pest is also known as red spider, red spider mite, or sometimes red mite. They are called spider mites because in heavy infestations they spin webs on the plant. Hidden beneath the leaves of your plants, they carry out their work with deadly efficiency. They are tiny creatures, barely visible to the naked eye, but they pack a mean punch. With the right conditions, just one pair of mites getting on to your plants can build up to over 10,000 within a month. As it only takes five mites per leaf for the plant to start suffering the effects, you can see the problem. Left untreated, these mites will quickly destroy your plants and any hope you have of getting a crop. Before the introduction of Spotless, they could only be controlled by very toxic pesticides. Months of work can be ruined in a very short time. We have seen growers lose crop after crop to these pests so that they eventually had to give up growing. Spider mites are so common, now, that it is not a matter of IF your crops will be attacked but WHEN. What are the effects? Well, the first effect is an alteration of the plant's metabolism. There is also injury to the leaf cuticle causes water stress and reduced ability to utilize light. In severe cases of injury, it is necessary to reduce the light intensity as not only is the extra light wasted, it also stresses the leaves as they also lose their ability to cool themselves down when they have been injured by mites.
