Der ScanSnap von Fujitsu bringt dazu Ultraschallsensoren mit, die dabei helfen, das nicht mehrere Papierseiten zur gleichen Zeit eingezogen werden. Pro Minute verarbeitet der Einzugsscanner zirka 20 bis 40 Seiten, dessen Vorder- und Rückseite digital projiziert werden. Der Duplex-Mode (maximale Breite A3; 150 bis 1200 dpi) erkennt, ob sich auf der Rückseite des Schriftstücks Text verbirgt, den der Benutzer eventuell übersehen hat. Zirka 50 Blatt lassen sich in der Einzugshalterung für den Scanvorgang unterbringen.
