Description:
A sprawling adventure, Metal Gear Solid GBC follows the very serpentine path of Solid Snake. This super-secretive covert operative has been called out of retirement to extricate the Metal Gear nuclear weapon from the clutches of a band of terrorists led by the charismatic but unhinged General Augustine Eguabon. In the course of his mission, Solid Snake picks up two dozen different items, including mines, mine detectors, the R-5 automatic rifle, the Nikita rocket launcher, plastic explosives, ID cards, armor, ammo and rations. Primarily a loner, Solid Snake can use his Codec radio to call five team members for advice and to save his progress. Long ago, Solid Snake learned to rely more on stealth than gunplay. Metal Gear Solid's VR Missions allow you to practice your stealthy skills with and without weapons. AI in the Advanced Mode rivals the game's hardest levels. In stores now, Metal Gear Solid is only compatible with Game Boy Color.
