Handheld hotrods can hop aboard a tricked out motorcycle and head off for high-speed street racing in Powerbike. Gamers take to the road on eight different courses, from the open desert to congested city streets, and attempt to earn money by performing jumps, burnouts, and wheelies. Cash can be used to upgrade a bike's top speed, acceleration, traction, and stability. Stunts aren't just for dollars though, because the cops are always in hot pursuit of street racers, so sometime players need to jump bridges, dodge trains, and weave through traffic just to evade the police. There are three different single-player race modes, and gamers looking for human competition can use a local wireless connection to go head-to-head against a friend in races or in "Stunt" mode.
