There's a lot of mountain to ski, and only a few short hours of daylight to get it all done, so you'd better strap on the Rossignol Experience 88 Ski and stop wasting time. The Experience is down to get after it whether it's gray and snowy, bluebird with fresh corduroy, icy midwinter in New England, or a little bit of everything rolled up into one afternoon, thanks to its lightweight construction, 88mm waist, and versatile camber profile. Rossignol designed it with the same Auto Turn Rocker as all the other skis in the Experience line, giving it high camber underfoot for serious edging power and throwing in a moderately rockered tip and tail to give it a nimble feel and better soft-snow performance. The sidecut radius has been extended, so you get radically more edge contact as you lay the ski on edge, giving you more power and control at higher speeds without sacrificing quickness and nimbleness when you're just cruising. A great all-mountain ski has to be stiff on hardpack but light and maneuverable to get through tight spots, and the Experience hits the mark by combining a light, lively poplar core with a basalt fiber laminate, giving the ski enough stiffness to rally through crud and over ice without taking away its quickness in trees and tight chutes. Rossignol designed with a minicap sandwich construction, which blends traditional rugged sidewalls with a lightweight cap to provide a killer combination of grip and lightness, and finished the Experience off with their now-trademark Air Tip, which uses a honeycomb construction to lighten the tip, reducing vibration and chatter for a smooth, predictable ride in all conditions, which is the whole point of the Experience, after all.
