The award-winning arcade football contest makes its way to the Game Boy for some hard-hitting action. Choose from 12 pro teams and then hit the gridiron for some high-stakes pigskin play. Choose your plays (run plays and pass plays are plentiful), and take on the league in a single game or an 11-week season. Of course, you can save all of your progress with the use of a password, and each code you earn is compatible with the NES version of the game. A comprehensive Coach mode lets you strategize and call all of the action, while real pro players make the game all the more intense. The game's designers have even included the animated cinema screens that made the arcade game such a success.
