The VT40-2421 Base Unit accepts up to 4 conventional telephone lines. The cordless Handsets can be placed anywhere. All you need is power for the Handset charger. Move Handsets/Chargers around as your needs change - no rewiring needed! The basic package includes Base Unit, cordless Handset and charger. Add additional Handsets (model 40-2420), up to a total of 12. Access all system features from the Handset, including Conference Calling, Call Transfer, Name/Number Speed Dialing, Call Waiting ID, Intercom and Visual Message Waiting Indication for voice mail. Each Handset can be personalized with a 'name'. Connect a Headset or use the Handsfree Speakerphone for maximum efficiency on the job.
