A Yamaha Soundbar speaker system has a built-in amplifier and connects to the audio output of your TV. It delivers front-based virtual surround sound throughout the sonic range for a wide frequency-response range.-At only 4-1/4 inches high, the Yamaha YAS-101 is deigned to be placed in front of your TV, on a stand. It does not block the screen. The YAS-101 integrates subwoofers and articulated drivers into the soundbar for an overall 50 Hz to 20,000Hz audio range, without needing a separate subwoofer on the side. With 30 watts amplification going to each speaker, and a total 120-watt output, the YAS-101 truly serves as a great virtual surround sound enhancer for any TV.-The Yamaha YAS-101 soundbar combines two 2-1/2" cone speakers with a dual-driver (3" cones) subwoofer, driven by a digital amp with a total output of 120W.
