Arc'teryx Covert Scarf
Get ready for colder weather with the Arc'teryx Covert scarf. Winner of a 2006 Polartec Excellence Award (Polartec hands out awards to companies who make stylish, functional, and innovative uses of their material), the Covert has a laminated pocket that fits IDs, keys, and/or cash, so you can leave your wallet/purse/backpack at home. The scarf is contoured so it doesn't bunch up around your neck, and it weighs a mere 1.7 ounces. As for warmth and softness, one reviewer says it "kicks butt over cashmere." Not bad for $30.
