Miami Vice
The following is a Public Service Announcement: Don't waste your time or your money on the Miami Vice movie, which we suffered through last night. The plot was weak, the dialogue weaker, and while Jamie Foxx was OK as Tubbs, let's just say Colin Farrell is no Don Johnson. For true 1980s crimefighting fun, with lots of pastel suits, explosions, speedboat chases, overgrown facial hair, and Jan Hammer mood music, there's nothing like the original Miami Vice TV series. Luckily the first 2 seasons are avaiable on DVD.
