Slumdog Millionaire
Slumdog Millionaire raked in the nominations and awards for the 2009 Academy Awards. It won Best Picture, Music Score, Film Editing, Sound Mixing, Cinematography, and for Writing (Adapted Screenplay). Danny Boyle also brought home an award for Best Director. Set around the popular game show, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," the movie tells the story of a boy growing up in the slums of Mumbai and his search for his one true love.
