Stephen King - Salem's Lot

Stephen King - Salem's Lot

As soon as the Halloween candy comes out in stores, we consider it time to start scaring ourselves silly. Although many novels have followed, the first book that had us sleeping with the lights on was Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot. It has everything a scary book should - a spooky mansion, monsters (in the form of vampires), and a seemingly undefeatable evil ring leader. Of course, it also has the plucky heroes who try and accomplish the impossible. King always delivers the scares, but this book remains a favorite.
